These days being a ‘security professional’ doesn’t just mean standing guard outside a bank vault. It involves the strategic application of resources, critical analysis of environments and situations, and at all times, compliance with relevant laws. That’s why this course covers topics such as Theoretical Criminology, Terrorism and Society, Information Security and Disaster Recovery.

Credit points

300 credit points must be successfully undertaken to complete the degree, 150 in each year.

Study load

A full-time study load comprises 4 subjects per trimester. Each subject entails three contact (in class) hours per week, so a full-time load is generally 12 contact hours per week.
