Accommodation

NCPS does not have it’s own on-campus student accommodation but its central location means accommodation is close at hand. Whether you choose to stay in the city or further afield, there are plenty of options to choose from.

Here are a few links to help you find a place.

Cost of living

Compared with other major cities around the globe, living in Sydney is very affordable. Well-serviced public transport and reasonably priced accommodation keep day-to-day living expenses down for students. Depending on your lifestyle and where you choose to live, you can expect to spend around AU$18,000 - $20,000 a year on living expenses (not including tuition fees).

Climate

Sydney has a temperate climate with warm to hot summers and cool to mild winters. Summer runs from December to February with average maximum temperatures reaching around 26C. The winter months – June/July/August – see average minimum temperatures drop to around 9C. Rainfall is moderate and the sun shines for more days of the year than not.

Cultural events

Sydney is one of the world’s most multicultural cities and, like the rest of Australia, likes to celebrate its diversity and recognise its culture. As a city, it plays host to many international events as well as local festivals and shows. With such fine weather, outdoor events are held throughout the year across metropolitan and greater Sydney.
